Kait Vadenais
GLUTEHOUSE COACH + FORMER COLLEGE ATHLETE
Kait Vadenais, a Rhode Island native now thriving in South Florida for the past nine years, brings a dynamic blend of passion and expertise to the fitness industry. Her journey into fitness and coaching was sparked by her active lifestyle and experiences as a college softball player. Kait's transition from an indoor cycling instructor to a group fitness coach, and eventually earning her personal training certification, reflects her deep commitment to promoting fitness and well-being.
Her fitness philosophy centers around the importance of movement quality over quantity, the intrinsic link between physical and mental health, the pursuit of balance, and self-competition. Kait specializes in hypertrophy and strength training, with a particular emphasis on barbell exercises to enhance muscle development and strength.
What Kait finds most rewarding about coaching is the opportunity to inspire individuals to become their best selves, celebrate their strength gains, and foster a love for strength training. She advises those struggling on their fitness journey to prioritize consistency over perfection and to focus on self-improvement rather than comparison.
A fitness myth Kait is keen to debunk is the notion that workouts are a form of punishment for eating or a way to "earn" meals. She advocates for a healthier perspective on training, emphasizing it as a celebration of the body's capabilities rather than a punitive measure.
