Emma Atkins
GLUTEHOUSE COACH
Emma Atkins, originally from Oswego, NY, transitioned from a competitive dance background to a successful career in fitness and coaching. Her journey began in Los Angeles, where she moved to pursue dance professionally. It was there that she discovered her passion for the fitness industry, starting with teaching dance fitness before expanding into personal training. Emma's philosophy on fitness and personal well-being centers on the idea that how we feel about ourselves influences every aspect of our lives. She believes that prioritizing health and fitness can transform one's self-perception and, in turn, their entire life.
Emma specializes in strength training with a focus on sculpting, core, and cardio exercises. Her favorite aspect of being a coach is witnessing the confidence shifts in her clients as they progress. She advises those struggling with their fitness journey to be proud of the progress they've already made and to practice self-love throughout the entire journey. Outside of coaching, Emma is deeply interested in energy, spirituality, intuition, and how the brain works, reflecting her holistic approach to well-being.
She debunks the myth that constant variation in workouts is necessary for progress, emphasizing the importance of repetition for achieving results. If she weren't a coach, Emma would be involved in neuroscience or possibly opening a dance studio.
